Visual Discrimination
This is ability to visually detect differences in variables such as shape, pattern, colour and size. It lets us see differences between objects that are similar. For example, when we read, it is visual discrimination that lets us see that “was” and “saw” are different even though they have the same letters.
Completing the exercises below will help your child/pupil improve in this area.
Spot the Difference
As the name suggests, this is a spot the difference with a variety of computer generated patterns and scenes specifically designed to help with visual discrimination.
Runaway Shapes
In these exercises, you are required to work out which shape is missing from the pattern.
